Bloody O2 0576524 just upgraded to v20.0.012.237.05
Where I can find:
- Mobile Dictionary: built-in dictionary functionality with voice playback of words utilizing text-to-speech technology, support for 38 languages
- Application Update: with Application Update people can check for available updates for applications and update them directly in the device. Applications can also be kept up-to-date by setting the checking to automatic.
Do I need to reinstall or format to see Dictionary?
Thanks
I can find only languages on http://europe.nokia.com/A4680276
It asks me for base package.
I cant see the icon Mobile Dictionary on my phone.

Hi,
I'm having nothing but problems with the camera mode on my 5800. It randomly stops processing the image, says it's encountered an error and to restart the phone, then when you turn it back on the screen is just black in camera mode on all of the settings and on both the primary and secondary cameras. I get the viewfinder and everything but no image. It takes several goes at turning the phone off then on again and removing and reinserting the battery and cards to get it sorted.
It seems to have started since I reset the phone and reinstalled the firmware.
It'a really beginning to annoy me how tempremental it is. Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Hi everyone. I have several issues with my E75 and would appreciate any feedback from other users.
Firstly, I have set the default numbers for voice calls, SMS, email etc for all of my contacts. Yet every time I send a message or make a call I get prompted to choose the number. The default number settings are not being used. When I check the contacts the default number settings are all correct and haven’t been lost.
Secondly, I am now on my second E75 handset as the first one suffered from extremely low signal strength. This one is the same. I am currently waiting for a new SIM to see if there is any improvement. Where my previous Nokia N82 and N79 both had a signal strength of about 25% - 75%, the E75 spends most of its showing ’No network coverage’. I am on Vodafone in the UK and apparently they don’t use USIM cards on their 3G network, just SIM cards. Does anyone know if this would make a difference? In areas of good reception the phone works fine with full 3G/3.5G etc.
Lastly, there seems to be some inconsistencies when applications access the Internet. I have set up access points for GPRS, WAP, and wifi. I have also set up the 'Destinations’ with the order in which I want the access points to be used. This works great for the web application which happily connects via my wifi if in range or via GPRS if not. However the email application seems to insist on using specific access points NOT the destinations. This is really annoying as it checks email using GPRS even though I am within range of my wifi network. To change the access point to use wifi means changing both the incoming and outgoing access points for every email account and then changing them all back to GPRS again when I leave my home/office! What is the point of having the great idea of using 'Destinations' if some applications don’t use them?

Hi,
After reinstall the Same version of N96's firmware using Nokia Software Updater, press *#0000#, and then Device Manager is opened, but I found the Latest Update in Device Manager shows Not Updated.
Is this normal? whether the NSU updating normal or not?
Thanks.

Hey, I bought this phone i think a week ago and while comparing my own pics/ videos with samples from reviews i noticed the poor quality of my pics and videos. I've also noticed some akward colouring issues in some pics. Pictures were taken after the auto-focus turns green on automatic mode and i've set the best quality for pictures. I attached a picture and a frame from a video i made( apparently i can attach only pics and txt)

I have a VW passat with a Premium carkit. This built-in carkit is developed by Nokia. Communication between carkit and e71 is done via the R-sap BT protocol.
It is working but the problem exist if the e71 is on for i think 1 or 2 days. When i'm in the car the BT connection will be lost. When connecting again, it will be lost after a few minutes. When i power off/ on the E71 again everything is working fine until 1 a 2 days. Is this some bug and is the latest firmware solve this problem?

Hi,
Does anyone know why the E71-2 does not use 3.5G for voice? When I send data (SMS etc) the display switches to 3.5G while transfering, then back to 3G.
My wife has a 5800 and it has the same specs as the e71 and it shows 3.5G.
Is this just a firmware problem with the E71?

Hi,
Has anybody got the new v21 firmware for their 5800 in the UK yet via NSU or FOTA?
I know it's started it's rollout in the far east, but was curious to see if any UK users had got it yet and what network they are on as each provider takes a different amount of time to approve updates.
I'm hoping it will fix the lag when rotating the screen (especially when theme effects are on), the miniature artwork in music player problem and generally improve the speed of things. If the screen could be made more sensitive to touch that would be great too. (I know it is a different type of screen to the iPhone, but there must be some sensitivity calibration available)
