Hi I have a AC 5E charger (European). I would like to know if I need a converter to use it in the USA or just a normal wall socket adapte.

I have bought a Nokia 5800, I've tried to download some mp3 music files into it but the Nokia Music application does not recognize the mobile connected via USB in media transfer mode. I'm connecting the phone using a Sony Vaio Laptop running on Window Vista Home Premium edition. While Nokia OVI suite seems working all right with the phone.

I use a fax to email service to receive faxes. The faxes come in as multi page TIF files. I was hoping that the 5800 would allow me to read these faxes on the move. Unfortunately using the 5800 email app I can only ever view the first page which is also transposed from portrait to landscape.

 

Any ideas how to view more than just the first page of the fax?

 

I tried using the biult in web browser to access my web mail and then view the fax but the browser won't open the TIF in any readable manner. Seems to treat it as html.

 

Any thoughts?

My memory card has several different folders of photos and such on it, but the 6650 phone does not seem to recognize the organization of my folders on it like my old 6555 did. eg., I have 3 photo folders on my card- one for pictures of cats, one for kids, one for friends. But when I access the "my images" folder on my phone to look for a picture of my son, it takes all my pictures (from cats, kids and friends) and throws them together into one "my images" folder, making me browse through all of hundreds of photos to find the one I want, instead of being able to view only the 20 pictures I have in one category folder applicable (kids). It pretends there are no folders, just a disorganized viewing of all my photos together. Is there any way to fix this viewing/organization issue? Thanks much!

I see from previous posts that there are Date changing issues with S60 phones.

 

Mine is very specific. The day is changed back by one. Today, when I switched the phone on, it showed 30 March instead of 31 March - the time was unchanged. This going back one day has happened twice this month alone.

 

Firmware is 03.46   26 Sep 2008,  Orange branded custom version 03.46.230.06  13 Nov 2008

 

Does anyone have any knowledge about a fix for this?

I have installed several themes (over 20) to my N95 8GB, then noticed that after installing some of them, some previous ones would disappear.

I try to install again the missing themes, but they still don't show up in the themes list. Is this a bug in the firmware or in the themes installation package?

Here are some notes:

- I downloaded the themes from a well know website

 

- I saved the SIS files on the mass memory and run the installation from there

 

- Most of the installed themes don't show up under App. Manager, although they are listed under my themes list and I can select them and use them

- One of the listed themes would disappear from the list after installing another one

 

- When I try to re-install a missing theme, I get a message like "theme xx  already exists. Replace version 1.00(0) with version 1.00(0)?" I select OK, but when installation is done I still don't see the theme in the list.

Any idea about this problem?

I'm trying to install applications onto my new 5800 via Nokia PC Suite. When I click install applications, and try to install a message appears on my phone that says 'expired certificate'. This happens every time I try and install different applications...they surely can't all have expired certificates?!

 

Any help would be much appreciated :) also, does anyone know of any sites where I can download themes for the 5800? I'm getting a bit bored of the black one.
