I have upgraded my old e72 firmware to 051.018 version (the latest version). As I did when I receive any new sms message, my  phone screen displays the sms icon and shows  the sender's phone number!

 

I didn't have this in my older version so does anyone knows how can I disable this feature??!! :(

Can someone confirm if there's a mic available in WH-500 headset and will it work with E72 ? I am looking for a headband style headset so that I can make calls. Where is the mic located in this WH-500 headset? is it similar to the default headset which comes alongwith sales package of E72 ?

Recently i've updated my 5800 to firmware version v51.
On contact bar home screen mode playing music automatic repeats all songs end of the list. (repeat off). But when i'm using shortcut bar or basic home screen modes, works fine. So i did hard reset and formatted. Not solved. Any suggestions please!

I have been stuck with v40.0.05 for over 6 months now and it is pretty irritating to not be able to use kinetic scrolling in all the menus!

please look into this and release v50 or v51 for us here.

The other day I bought a e52 and my friend who works in official service and we checked that the phone market and that has Nokia warranty. Checked and saw that it was not, but I do not know to tell me for waiting so. Whether these phones with no guarantee of lower quality and with a factory mistake? Here I send a picture.

I have a Nokia E-63 phone and i am finding problems while trying to connect it to my home Wifi.

 

Just to make my problem clear, here is some info about my connection:

The wireless configuration is as shown here Wireless info.

 

The ISP is Airtel.

 

It uses WPA/WPA2 Enterprise, PEAP, and MSCHAPv2 for authentication.

So i chose the folowing:

Security Mode: WPA/WPA2

EAP Plugin settings:

EAP-PEAP

Certificate: thawte premium server CA

MSCHAPv2 authentication

 

Selected "Yes" in prompt-password field.

 

Now when i connect, i get the error:

WLAN:

EAP-PEAP authentication failed.

 

As I am not getting to even prompt password thing, i guess there is something wrong with the certificates thing.

 

I have configured everythig as it was there in numerous threaads out here but still no luck. I tried all certificates listed here, still problem persists.

 

I have seen logs at my modem, it says EAP-Request and then EAP failure whenever i try to connect.

 

Can someone help me out plzz.. this thing is making me crazy..

I have set up a mail for exchange account on my Nokia E72. I am using hotmail as my mail provider. Everything works pretty fine. My mails and contacts get synchronzized with the phone.

Now, i want to use push mail to instantly receive mails. I am not able to get this feature running. In the options for the synchronization i've selecte under peak days every day of the week. Peak time i from 6:00-22:00 and sync plan is always active.

 

When i am sending an email to my hotmail account (within peak time) i don't get a push mail, not even after lots of minutes or hours. I have to go in my mailbox and manually press "send and receive" to get my new mails.

 

How can i get push mail on my E72 for my hotmail account? Many thanks in advance.

I purchased an 8gb card and i want to transfer msgs from my old card to new one.
So how do i do that?
Firstly how do i transfer msgs from my old mem card to phone mem?

Is there any way of extending or disabling the light time out so the screen stays on? The only option I can find is to vary it for up to a minute.
